Parvaneh Ebrahimi studied analytical chemistry and chemometrics at the Department of Chemistry, Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Iran, and received her MSc degree in 2011. Immediately after, she started as a PhD student at the Spectroscopy and Chemometrics group, Department of Food Science, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and during her PhD she focused on studying the metabolism of bacteria by NMR, improving the quality of NMR data for metabolomics studies, and quantifying mold growth and inhibition by multispectral imaging. Since 2015, she has been employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the Spectroscopy and Chemometrics group, University of Copenhagen. Her main research interests include metabolomics, multivariate and multiway data analysis, chemometrics, and programming. So far, she has authored several peer-reviewed scientific papers, and has presented the results of her research in different international conferences and meetings.
