Abstract
With interactive computer models, it is possible for students to work
with more sophisticated models than if they worked with a standard textbook.
That does not mean that computer models with a magic stroke convert
poor teaching to good teaching. As with all other teaching tools
teachers should consider when and how such models should be used and when other tools would be more effective for allowing students to reach the learning outcomes.
