Primary fields of research

My scientific main interest lies within the field of developmental psychology with a particular focus on developmental milestones and the associations with intelligence and personality. My key competences are to combine the fields of public health and psychology in research projects related to developmental psychology, intelligence, and personality. Methodologically I use epidemiology to conduct studies based on birth cohorts and registers. I have a special focus on the Copenhagen Perinatal Cohort from 1959-61.

Current research

Trine Flensborg-Madsen is involved in a number of research projects within the areas of developmental psychology, personality, intelligence, medical psychology, quality of life, and alcohol use disorders.

Teaching

Teaches and lectures primarily in developmental psychology, medical psychology, intelligence, and personality. I have teaching experiences from several educations at the Faculty of Health, the University of Copenhagen:
