Research interest:

My research has always been concentrated on the immune response to viral infections; effector cell migration to areas of infection, effector molecules in virus control, induction and maintenance of T-cell memory. This is currently being used to develop vaccines against virus and bacteria.

Member of the Danish Society for Immunology, Danish Society for Flow Cytometry, and The Danish Society for Virology.

Board member of the Danish Society for Immunology and Danish Society of Flow Cytometry. Reviewer for many international journals, Scan. J. Immunol., J. Virol., J. Immunol., APMIS and J. Clin. Invest.

Primary fields of research
