Iacopo Galleano is a PhD. student at the University of Copenhagen. He graduated in March 2014 at the University of Turin (Italy), with highest grades and honours. His Master Thesis was performed durin an Erasmus internship in Lund (Sweden), in prof. Ulf Nilsson lab. The project was focused on the discovery of new potential anti-malaria drugs, and it has been awarded by the University of Turin as one of the best thesis submitted in that year. Iacopo started his PhD project in November 2014 in prof. Christian Adam Olsen group. The project aims to the biological screening of new substrates of HDACs & Sirts enzymes.
