Short presentation

Carlos joined the Olsen lab in April 2016 as Ph.D. student. During his doctoral studies, he employed peptide microarray techniques for the discovery of inhibitors and pull-down ligands of histone deacetylases. He was also involved in the develpment of functional enzyme assays and in the evaluation of inhibitor binding kinetics. Carlos' current work focuses in the development of tools for investigating sirtuin biology.
