Erling Andersen (born 1961) MSc. Communications and Geography, University of Roskilde and Ph.D. Countryside planning, University of Copenhagen. Specialised in European research on agriculture, policies and landscape. This includes framework programme funded research on evaluation of agri-environmental schemes, assessment of livestock policies and integrated modelling of the effects of agricultural and environmental policies on the sustainability of farming systems. The research also includes applied research for European Environment Agency, DGs Environment and Agriculture and Joint Research Centre, Ispra on High Nature Value Farming, Biofuels, Cross-compliance, Farm Advisory Systems and agri-environmental issues, ecosystem services and farm level indicators. Management experience includes work Board membership and work package leading in Integrated Projects and leading contracts on applied research as mentioned above.

1996-1999: Post Doc at the Agricultural University of Copenhagen

1999-2003: Project researcher at the Danish Forest and Landscape Research Institute, Ministry of Environment.

2004-Present: Senior researcher at the Danish Forest and Landscape Research Institute, Ministry of Environment now via sevearl mergers Institute of Geosciences and Nature Management, University of Copenhagen
