This article reports and comments on interesting Danish Microlepidoptera collected in 2021, and includes
remarkable records from previous years. The classification and nomenclature follow the Danish checklist
(Karsholt & Stadel Nielsen, 2013). Four species are reported as new to the Danish fauna in 2021: Phyllonorycter
muelleriella (Zeller, 1839) and Phyllonorycter pastorella (Zeller, 1846) (Gracillariidae), Batrachedra confusella
Berggren, Aarvik, Huemer, Lee & Mutanen, 2022 (Batrachedridae), and Stenoptilodes taprophanes (Felder &
Rogenhofer, 1875) (Pterophoridae). One species, Coleophora ornatipennella (Hübner, 1796) (Coleophoridae),
is removed from the list of Danish Lepidoptera due to misidentification. The number of Danish Gracillariidae is
now 93, Batrachedridae 3, Coleophoridae 128, and Pterophoridae 49. This results in a total of 1637 species of
Microlepidoptera (families Micropterigidae–Zygaenidae + Pyralidae–Crambidae) recorded from Denmark. The
number of Macrolepidoptera species recorded from Denmark is 985, bringing the number of Danish Lepidoptera
to a total of 2622 species. This is the 43th article in the series of yearly lists of Microlepidoptera from Denmark
