Focusing on WHW, the Croatian curatorial collective behind the 11th Istanbul Biennial in 2009 and analyzing their exhibition concept reactualizing Brechtian educational and elucidating strategies the article argues for a case of differencing canons by inserting socialist counter-canons into the hegemonic archive of global biennial art.
