Abstract
This pdf-file contains annotated instructions for creating functions and scripts using R-studio. These functions and scripts can be used for generating and analysing networks of group discussions. A document called "example.txt" accompanies the document, but a user can generate his/her own .txt document if more convenient. The instructions are organized as follows:
1. How to prepare files for loading
2. How to load a set of transcription files into R for text-mining
3. How to pre-process those files
4. How to convert files into networks that can be analysed
5. How to calculate each of the measures used in the main article
6. How to calculate Z-values based on randomized networks
