Short presentation

My PhD research at DynaMo focuses on identification and characterisation of transporters for commercially valuable small molecules and phytohormones. I employ the Xenopus oocyte expression system for high throughput screening of Arabidopsis thaliana cDNA transport library. The ultimate goal is to engineer potential transport proteins in yeast so as to increase product yield and recovery of commercially valuable compounds in synthetic biology.
