Short presentation

I am a research assistant within the Climate and Food Security Research Group at the University of Copenhagen. I am working on several food forestry projects conducting research relating to the benefits of sustainable urban and peri-urban food producing systems, specializing in quantifying the carbon storage potential of agroforestry projects.

 

I am the Scientific Project Manager for the Horizon2020 project, FoodSHIFT2030, and leader of WP8, Management. I will be contributing to various project tasks including the benchmarking of existing food system innovations as well as project communication and dissemination via project website and social media. I also am experienced in leading or assisting project event coordination, including hosting H2020 project meetings, Erasmus student introduction weeks and logistical support for research planning.

 

I will also contribute to teaching and course work as the assistant academic coordinator for the two-year master programme, EnvEuro Environmental Science - Soil, Water and Biodiversity as well as contribute to the Climate Solutions course with greenhouse gas accounting workshops.

 

I have previous employment at an environmental constancy Thiess Services (Australia), as a team leader responsible for the ongoing environmental project management, reporting and sample monitoring in two coal mines.
