Personal profile

Short presentation

Putting my Master’s degree in Climate Change to good use working as a research assistant in the Climate and Food Security Group.

My main focus is field trials on nutrient and water use efficiency within intercropping in silviagricultural systems. I follow the experiments from start to finish across field design, biomass and soil sampling throughout the season, sample processing and laboratory analyses, data management and summing it all up in academic manuscripts, which I carry through the submission and review process.

With a passion for sustainable food production and biodiversity, my specialisation centers around food forest research with quantification of the potential carbon storage in soil and vegetation.  Additionally, I work with Life Cycle Assessment of Copenhagen Municipality public kitchens for estimation of the CO2 emissions to support the shift to climate-friendly diets.

Furthermore, I have aided in organising and running a PhD course on crop modelling, as well as international meetings and related field trips both inside and outside Danish borders. I assist in project coordination with several international project, and contribute to deliverables.
