Short presentation

I am a Postdoc working on forest genetics and diversity at the University of Copenhagen. My current research focuses on ad-hoc breeding and gene and metabolite expression in Abies nordmanniana trees after infestation with silver fir wooly adelgids.

I did my Ph.D.  in forest and landscape genetic at the University of Copenhagen from Oct 2014 to May 2018, my Ph.D. thesis was to study Genetics of susceptibility to Neonectria neomacrospora and Christmas tree traits in Abies sp..

I have a Master in Forest genetics and tree breeding from the Northwest A&F University in China from Sep 2011 to June 2014, I studied the phenological traits and morphological properties of walnut(Juglans regia L.) cultivars grown in Shaanxi Province, China.

My research interests focus on:

  • Plant breeding
  • Quantitative genetics
  • Molecular genetics and genomes
  • Plant pathology
  • Statistical analysis
