Hans Frost (1948), former associate professor now part time consultant, has been working with fisheries economics since 1976. He holds extensive experience in fisheries management, bio-economic modelling, and EU fisheries policies. Since 1987 he has continuously been engaged in EU research projects and in work and working groups under the Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries (STECF) and the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the EU-Commission. Currently, he mainly works with the development of bio-economic models to take into account fishery activities’ impact on the ecosystem and the management implications thereof.
