Personal profile

Primary fields of research

My research focus is on social inequality in ageing from a lifecourse perspective. My current Ph.D. project concerns how social factors experienced from birth to adulthood influence cognitive ability and the risk of dementia in later life. The project is part of the Nordic collaborative research project Social Inequality in Ageing (SIA) supported by the Nordforsk Foundation.

At the Section of Social Medicine I am affiliated with the research groups Lifecourse Epidemiology in Ageing and Rehabilitation (CLEAR) and Prevention and Rehabilitation.
