I joined the Brunak group in April 2018 as a research assistant. Here, I study health-to-disease transition in metabolically challenged individuals, such as type 2 diabetes patients. Using multi-omics integration, I investigate multiple layers of molecular data to discover patterns associated with disease history.
I hold a bachelor and master degree in Molecular Biomedicine from University of Copenhagen. During this time, I worked with Ass. Prof. Jonas Thue Treebak at NNF CBMR on NAD metabolism in relation to metabolic health.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
