    Abstract

The aim of this paper was to report a case of rare traumatic induced vertebral artery pseudoaneurysm and the endovascular treatment and a brief discussion of different treatment options. We present a case of an 8 year old boy incidentally shot in the right shoulder with exit wound on the left side of the neck. The patient developed a pseudoaneurysm on the right vertebral artery, which was treated with endovascular microcoils. Coil embolization of vertebral artery pseudoaneurysm was succesfull and the patient recovered without sequela. Endovascular treatment should be a considered alternative to open surgery.
