Abstract
Thorbjørn Lausten is a sculptor and an installation artist. He is one of the very few Danish artists who have worked continually in the interstice between art, technology and the natural sciences. The article gives an introduction to Thorbjørn Lausten's works and their relationship to the images of the world constructed by the natural sciences and to digital and electronic technologies. Its thematic point of departure is the three basic categories that his art investigates: time, space and light.
