Abstract

I am going today to speak on rural development and how it is currently practiced in Europe, with a specific focus on the new rural paradigm and the LEADER method. I will try to explain the background and setup of rural development in the European Union, and try to describe the principles of the so-called “new rural paradigm”. And I will illustrate this with some quick cases.
