Paperet behandler fem mulige postitioner hvorfra en konkret nycirkusforestilling, (Absinth, der spillede i oktober 2017 i et telt på pladsen for Cesars Palace, Las Vegas, USA) kan analyseres med henblik på at undersøge brugen af provokationer, komik og fornærmelser af publikum som kunstnerisk strategi i en ellers konventionsbundet kontekst.
