Abstract

The thematic aim of the present dissertation is twofold: To contribute to the contemporary discussion within philosophy of religion, which revolves around ‘the
death and (alleged) return of God’; more specifically, I want to rethink God
through the concept memory, drawing on selected writings from the German
philosopher Hans Blumenberg’s (1920‐1996).
