Abstract
Leucochloridium paradoxum sporocysts in tentacles of the snail Succinea show pulsating movements. Moving sporocysts with infective parasite larvae looks like an insect larva. Birds eat the sporocysts and subsequently obtain intestinal infection with the adult fluke.
