Krigspolitik(k)en under angreb

Translated title of the contribution: War Policy Under Attack

Abstract

During the past 17 to 18 years, Danish foreign and security policies have been militarized significantly, with Denmark's active involvemnet in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as climaxes up until now. The book under review, Jørgen Bonde Jensen: "Politiken and the War Policy. A Letter to the Editor", critically reviews the coverage of the newspaper Politiken of this development, with special emphasis upon the Iraq War. The book review endorses in part the critical review of the coverage of Politiken, but it criticizes the 'letter to the Editor' format of the book, which hampers reading of the book unnecessarily.
