Abstract
Mediation - which model should be chosen?: Various models for mediation and their characteristics are discussed in this article. I argue the combination of a modern interpretation of the concepts neutrality and impartiality and the flexible framework within which mediation is performed, calls for the mediator to take a conscious stand regarding the specific underlying values and premises of the mediation model. The reflexive model of mediation embodies to a high degree the kinds of interaction between structure and content required for high quality mediation.
