Abstract
Dette medfører imidlertid et paradoks, fordi den ekstensive kultur slår om i intensive kulturformer: ”Given this growing extensification of contemporary culture, on another level and at the same time, we seem to be experiencing a parallel phenomenon whose colours are other; they come in a different register and can only be characterized as intensive”. Ud af en stadigt mere standardiseret og gennemført ekstensiv globalisering vokser nye mønstre af intensiv identitetsformation relateret til nye erfaringsformer, identitetsoplevelser, livstil, nye erfaringsformer, samlivsmøstre etc.; ”the sheer pace of life in the streets of today’s mega-city would seem somehow to be intensive”.
