    Abstract

This article reports and comments on interesting Danish Microlepidoptera collected in 2013 and include remarkable findings from previous years. The classification and nomenclature follow the Danish checklist (Karsholt & Stadel Nielsen, 2013). Eight species are reported as new to the Danish fauna: 1) Phyllonorycter issikii (Kumata, 1963) (Gracillariidae): numerous larvae in leaf mines of Tilia and one adult were found in the island of Bornholm; 2) Semioscopis strigulana (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775) (Depressariidae): two specimens were caught in light traps during April in Bornholm; 3) Pancalia nodosella (Bruand, 1851) (Cosmopterigidae): five specimens collected between 1973 and 1981 were found misidentified as P. schwarzella (Fabricius), all from the North-western Jutland; 4) Coleophora ornatipennella (Hübner, 1796) (Coleophoridae): one specimen was collected in a light trap in Lolland; 5) C. jaernaensis Björklund & Palmqvist, 2002 (Coleophoridae) and 6) C. expressella Klemensiewicz, 1902 (Coleophoridae): one specimen of each were collected in light traps in Bornholm; 7) Stenoptilia inopinata Bigot & Picard, 2002 (Pterophoridae): three specimens were collected in light traps in two localities in Bornholm. The identification of this species is considered tentative, and 8) Cydalima perspectalis (Walker, 1859) (Crambidae): one specimen was photographed at light near Copenhagen, and numerous larvae were subsequently found in plant nurseries in North-eastern Zealand. Two species are moved from the observation list (Buhl et al., 2010) into the Danish check list: Syncopacma polychromella (Rebel, 1902) (Gelechiidae) which was found in one specimen in Lolland in 1998, and Pammene herrichiana (Heinemann, 1854) (Tortricidae) which is now considered distinct from P. fasciana (Linnaeus, 1758). There are constant differences in the form of the valva in the male genitalia of the two species, whereas we only found subtle differences in the female genitalia. The total number of Danish Gracillariidae is now 89, Depressariidae 50, Cosmopterigidae 11, Gelechiidae 179, Coleophoridae 123, Tortricidae 390, Pterophoridae 47 and Crambidae 124. This results in a total of 1596 species of Microlepidoptera found in Denmark. The total amount of Macrolepidoptera recorded from Denmark is 965, bringing
