Abstract

20/20 PET(/MR) and 12/20 PET(/CT) images showed artifacts. Most frequent for PET(/MR) being distortions due to misclassification of tissue (20/20) and truncation (12/20), both also seen in (and caused by problems with) the Dixon MR-based μ-maps. For PET(/CT) misalignment (8/20) and distortions due to high density implants (7/20) were most frequent. In PET(/MR) distortions caused by misalignment was seen in 5/20 and data processing (non-uniformities) in (3/20).
