Abstract
In the autumn of 2007 the village of Torslunde West of Copenhagen witnessed for the second time the discovery of rich Late Roman Iron Age finds. The discovery was made during an archaeological excavation which unearthed the remains of 29 inhumation burials grouped around a substantial high-status inhumation (the princely grave). The burials date from c. 250 to 400 AD, corresponding to the
period from the Late Roman Iron Age (period C1b/C2) to the beginning of the Early Germanic Iron Age (period D1).
