An investigation into how industrial sites become associated with value in processses of urban redevelopment. The thesis is a contribution to the heuristic framework Landscpae biography and suggests how this can be operative in urban redevelopment projects. It also offers new insights into the Carlsberg brewery site- stressing open spaces as important and possible figures for the future development fo this site.
