"Collaboration d'état" and the People at War in Denmark. The Development of Discourses

Abstract

An analysis of the development of discourses in regard to a historiographic interpretatioon of the expierences of occupation in Denmark 1940-45. The development of discourses has been dominated by a division between resistencialist discourses and discourses based on state collaboration, as well as a division between research based discourses and discourses based on popular historical writings. The latest development of the historical writing and research point towards a softening of these divisions.
