Abstract

Some of the issues (and their consequences) that arise when human-network interfaces (HNIs) are viewed from the perspective of people who use and develop them are examined. Target attributes of HNI architecture are presented. A high-level architecture model that supports the attributes is discussed. A preliminary opportunity analysis that estimates the savings possible with the proposed model is provided.
