Abstract
On 18 July 2011, the International Court of Justice indicated provisional measures with regard to the Temple of Preah Vihear dispute between Cambodia and Thailand. This article seeks to examine the provisional measures focusing particularly on the following issues: the role of provisional measures in cases involving the use of force, the Courts power to indicate non-aggravation measures, the validity of a provisional demilitarized zone created by the Court and the validity of the plausibility test as a distinct condition for provisional measures.
