Abstract
Danish researchers from KVL have shown that Baltic salmon has a supeior ability to combat the pathogenic parasite Gyrodactylus salaris. The immune responses have been partly characterised and they are in-appropriate in Scottish and Norwegian salmon. In contrast the response is relevant in Baltic salmon
