Personal profile

Primary fields of research

I am interested in human movement. I study the biomechanics and motor control of human locomotion, musculoskeletal function and adaptation to various interventions and conditions. In particular human walking (healthy and clinical aspects) and knee joint function after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury has inspired my research. I mainly use biomechanics, muscle strength measurement and electromyography to investigate my research questions.

I am affliliated with the research unit at the Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy, Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital
