Short presentation

My Research focuses on the intersection between welfare policy and criminal justice policy. In my present Eu Funded project I eaxmine the ways in whcih Denmark's welfre and criminal justice policies have shifted in response to the contentious discourse on immigration.

My previous work examined welfare rights movements in the U.S. and in Israel, public discourse, and the news media. A paper on media framing of an Israeli welfare rights movement was awarded the RSMCC Outstanding Author Contribution Award.

I'm passionate about research as well as teaching. In addition to teaching at univerisities, I've taught and mentored in a two-year leaderrship program that serves Jewish and Bedouin Arab rising leaders in the Negev Desert.
