Literary and cultural history (especially Danish, English and German in the 19th and 20th centuries); Latin American prose literature; modern urban culture and architecture 

Current research

I am writing a book on the history of the city square and its reflection in literature; I am writing an article on the reflection of the Roman piazza in Danish culture; together with the architect Erik Brandt I am writing a book om cultural heritage as a tool in urban development (based on a winning project on the industrial heritage in Frederiksværk)

Impact

At the Faculty of Humanities my research is used as an example of the impact the humanities researchers have on society.
