Measurement of Motivation in (Higher) Education
Current research
Assessing the validity of several measurement scales of Motivation in the Danish Higher Education context through several advances psychometric methods (i.e. item response theory, Rasch family models, and Structural Equation models). Examining particularly whether the invariance assumption holds in said scales in regards to Gender, Academic discipline, Nationality/Culture and across Time. Conducting experimental research in regards to the predictive power of Intrinsic and Extrinsic Motivation measures.
