Short presentation

My main research interests lie in the field of primary prevention of chronic diseases with etiological roots in modifiable risk factors, at the individual and structural level. Environmetnal epidemiology, public health nutrition, social epidemiology and life course epidemiology are among my broad fields of interest.

In my PhD project I will examine the role of indoor pollution on childhood health outcomes, including asthma. The general framework will be to understand how indoor pollution acts by itself and in connection with multiple other environmental exposures.
