Previous positions: Professor (mso) in Economics at the Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen (2011-2014). Associate Professor in Economics at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen (2008-2011). Assistant Research Professor in Economics at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen (2005-2008).

Current position: Professor (mso) in Development Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Copenhagen (since 2014)

Short presentation

Professor (mso) in development microeconomics. Member of Development Economics Research Group (DERG - www.econ.ku.dk/derg). Research primarily empirical, with a focus on being policy relevant in a developing country context. Research has therefore often been carried out in collaboration with national ministries and research institutions (e.g. Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania and Vietnam) but also with international organizations such as the UN, ILO and the World Bank.
