I consider myself a biochemist who uses structural biology tools to examine and analyse biological problems. Having used X-ray crystallography for several years to study structures of proteins involved in metabolic pathways and fertilization protein complexes, I am currently focussing on investigating membrane transporters using single particle cryoEM.
