Primary fields of research
My primay interest is stories or narratives, what they have to offer anthropology, and how we can integrate the art of storytelling as a central aspect of our education. I am currently writing a collection of stories based upon my work amongst Indian crafts producers over a period of 30 years.

After years of working with educational issues related to firstly ethnic minority children and later university students, I have returned to my previous engagement with traditional producers of craft in India.
