Jens Erik Mogensen has been Associate Dean for Education at the Faculty of Humanities since 2011. Previous to this position, he headed the Department of English, Germanic and Romance Studies, where he was also chairman of the board and co-founder of the Centre for Internationalisation and Parallel Language, CIP. His research focuses on German linguistics and lexicography. He is currently heading the collaboration between UCPH and the university colleges, and a research project on Language Didactics. He is heading several steering committees on educational strategies and educational research, and is a personal member of the Danish Language Council. Furthermore, he is board member of Oslo Metropolitan University, and chairman of the advisory board for The Paul Auster Research Library.
