• The Danida project "Induced Systemic Resistance in rice against rice blast caused by the fungal pathogen Pyricularia oryzae" (1995-1997)
• The Danida-ENRECA project “Systemic acquired resistance - an ecofriendly strategy for managing diseases in rice and pearl millet”, financed by Danida (1998-2004).
• The Danida project “Induced resistance in maize as a control measure against Southern leaf blight caused by Bipolaris maydis”, financed by Danida (2003-2005).
• The SJVF project “Understanding the role of ROS in defence and pathogenesis in the wheat-S. tritici interaction. How does the pathogen manipulate the host for successful infection?” (2005-2008).
