Academic contributions

My most important academic contributions have been to increase our knowledge on public sector change and reform in relation to overall administrative policies as well as to reforms in higher education  especially in relation to evaluation, quality assurance and mergers. Most of my work in this area has been conducted from a comparative Scandinavian perspective. Further my work has contributed to increase our knowledge on evaluation practices as well as methodologies to develop evidence-based policy and practice.

Contributions outside academia

Outside academia I have participated in advisory activities in relation to evaluation and quality assurance practices in public organisations in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the OECD.
