Høgni Kalsø Hansen holds a M.Sc. in Socio-economic Geography from Department of Geography, University of Copenhagen and a PhD in Economic Geography from Department of Social and Economic Geography, Lund University, Sweden. Before coming to Department of Geography and Geology, University of Copenhagen he was post.doc at CIRCLE, Centre of Innovation, Research and Competence in the Learning Economy and Senior Lecturer at Department of Geography, University of Copenhagen.
Høgni Kalsø Hansen is doing research within the area of urban economic dynamics focusing on the match/mismatch between industrial structures and skills along with human capital innovation and labour mobility.
