Elin Jørgensen is a postdoc at the Leo Foundation Centre for Cutaneous Drug Delivery. Her research focuses on developing novel biological models to investigate and address cutaneous drug delivery during skin and wound infections.
Elin is a veterinarian (DVM) and has during her PhD developed an equine chronic wound model with biofilm infections and studied different wound types' response to bacterial inoculation and the presence of biofilm.
Skin and wound models. Biofilm infections.
