Focus on cancer cell biology and structural characterisation of carbohydrates; specifically, studying the function and synthesis of a specific cancer receptor. This includes mainly cell work, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy and purification of carbohydrates and analysis on HPLC and LC-MS.
