Personal profile

Short presentation

One of my main research interests is to understand the role of lipids in the initiation and spreading of neurodegenerative diseases.

Current research

My current research aims at providing mechanistic insights into the interplay between disruptions in lipid homeostasis and Parkinson's Disease. In order to adress this question, we use a multidisciplinary approach at the interface between biology and biophysics including the study of different PD cellular models and the characterisation of protein-membrane interactions and aggregation at the molecular level.

Primary fields of research

- Neurodegenerative Diseases
- Protein and lipid biophysics
- Cellular disease models
