Veterinary pathologist, with special interest and expertise in pathological methods applied in diagnostics,  research and survaillance of diseases in fur animals and wildlife.

Research focus has mainly been on prevention and diagnostics of infectious diseases, including diseases like distemper, pseudomonas, Aleutian disease virus and enteropathogenic viral infections.
